Frequently asked questions

Can I ask a question without changing the project?

Yes. Ask for an explanation, plan, review, or investigation and say when implementation is not wanted. You do not need to select a separate chat mode. See Writing effective prompts.

Can I save preferences for every chat in one project?

Use the Settings tab and save Project instructions. The owner or a full-access collaborator can edit them when the owner's plan enables the feature. Saved changes apply to new tasks, not an already running task. See Project instructions.

Does a new chat remove my application?

No. Chats are separate conversations within the same project. Starting a new conversation does not create a new application copy or erase project files. Keep unrelated discussions in separate chats and give enough context for the new request. See Agent and chat.

Why is my request waiting?

One project task runs at a time. Later requests wait in the shared project queue. Also check for an unanswered question, missing access, or insufficient credits. Repeatedly submitting the same request can add duplicate work rather than speed it up.

Does Preview show the production version?

Not necessarily. Preview runs development work; production uses a published release. A local build or health check does not prove public preview or production availability. See Preview troubleshooting.

Does restoring History restore my data?

No. Source restoration does not rewind database rows, stored objects, or external services. Development and production share managed project data. See Database and storage.

Can Amazi send me a document instead of building an app?

Yes. Ask for a downloadable file as the outcome. Files can be prepared in the project workspace and attached to the answer without creating a download-only application. See Files and attachments.

Why did an image task spend more credits than expected?

The displayed task total can include image generation and other metered work. Describe the intended image size, quality needs, and number of separate files, and ask to reuse existing assets where possible. See Generating images.

Does inviting someone give them every permission?

No. Project roles control what collaborators can do, and some actions depend on the owner's plan. Project access is separate from an account inside the application you build. See Collaboration and access.

Where can I find current prices and available integrations?

Use Plans and credits, Connections and environment, and AI Gateway. Those guides can include live catalog information. Do not rely on an old chat answer for a current allowance or model list.

Can the documentation assistant fix my project?

The documentation assistant answers from published product guidance. For implementation, use project chat. For a platform or access problem, open Support with the project, action, time, and safe diagnostic evidence. Never include secrets.
